to replace air vent covers

Hi, we've got two old air vents in the external wall of our sitting room. We'd like to replace the current vent covers with new ones that have a slide so you can close them when it gets really cold outside. The current covers look pretty old and sturdy. They're made of plaster or plastered into the wall perhaps, so you can't just unscrew them. Quotes much appreciated. Thanks. Rachel
