Widening oven space in fitted kitchen

We have just moved into a new house with a lovely fitted oak kitchen. The only problem is that the freestanding oven (which is very very old) is an odd width (about 53cm) and we want to replace it. Ideally we would like a 60cm wide gap for the new oven, which means getting someone in to make the space wider. There are three drawers on either side of the oven space and we want to know if these can be made a little narrower, and if the worktop can be cut back a few centimetres, to make room.

It won't be a huge job I dont think, but we want it done properly so that the kitchen still looks nice.
