Damp coming from behind tiles in basement showerroom

Localised Damp coming through tiles in my basement shower room. Above this runs the waste pipe (boxed in) for the flat. Im not sure whether damp is caused by General damp coming through or small leak in waste pipe. Tiles will have to come off to discover cause. I Will provide tiles for repair work
