To fit a Cat-flap in front door

I have a glass panelled wooden front door which I would like a cat flap fitted either to cut the glass panel to put in the cat flap or take one of the glass panels out and fit a manual cat flap onto a wooden board onto the door. I am in a privately rented flat. My landlord has given me permission to do it . Please advise the easiest option. Thanks
