Run power from consumer unit to back of house

Want to run power from my consumer unit to the back of my house. Consumer unit is in a cloak room (toilet) by the front door of the house. Will use the power at the back of the house to power my plug and play hot tub (runs off a normal 13A socket giving out 2kwh at highest). A heat lamp (or 2 at most) and some lighting. Been told it may be best to do it this way rather than try to run off my living room circuit which is the room at the back of my house.
