Looking to repaint our flat when current tenants leave. I am told the walls are not in a great state! Anyway, could you advise regarding paint - we are looking for the best value paint.

B and M do good quality paint and paper at a budget
Dulux most probably cheapest. Crown the best.
The best type of paint for a rental referral would be the best type of paint which is June blocks the reason being is it will last it's durable is easy to clean and in the long run you will be saving money
I use Johnstones as it covers really well and it is good to work with easy best paint
Dulux Vinyl Matt or Crown Vinyl matt
sorry but best value isn't always best , Valspar, Valspar and Valspar only, expensive but covers anything
Hi,
I've never had a problem with Johnstone's Durable Mat it's hard wearing scrubable and Johnstone's Decorating Centre's will mix it to any colour you want including all farrow and ball colours.
The best paint for refreshing is duluxe paint super mat and a nice colour to use I would recommend almond white ,it's nice natural colour and makes the room very spacious.regards Silvio Builders .
Would always recommend dulux paint for internal walls, or leyland trade white/magnolia always covers quite well
For me its simple: Johnstone or McPherson: I found right balance between paint covering performance, durability and its price. Using one bright color all threw out the property will save time and money for further touch ups and will optically open up any small room.
Dulux or if heavy traffic ie a b&b or pub: diamond paint
I Normally us Johnstones for a refresh in rental properties
We normally use Leland trade paint it is a washable paint and it's very good for covering MarkS
Hello
I would advise using good paint for the best result.
If you buy cheep paint it will be weak this means more coats needed on the walls . Best to get good paint Dulux if possible and expect two coats each wall.
Johnstones or Leyland emulsion paints are excellent value and a very good coverage.
Leyland trade under coat, gloss and emulsion is the best which can be seen on our website for properties and rentals we have done.
Kind regards Weaves Interiors
Dulux Trade or Crown emulsion best paints to use. Durable paint which are quality products buy also good value
The best value is Dulux. It may seem to cost more than other brands of paint but due to the fact that it is a better quality paint you will need to apply less coats which will save you time and money. Again due to quality you will get the best look and finish with Dulux. Main thing to bear in mind is that you buy the right paint for the job which some people over look in kitchen and bathrooms which can cause paint to flake and not last. Make sure you look on the tin and use the right one.
If your renting a house the cheapest paint is just flat Matt, but if you want it to last then vinal Matt is far more durable
Leyland superlex emulsion for walls and oil based satin for woodwork (water base if you want a quick drying time) but I prefer oil base finish.
...Best in price or best quality?
- for the first - Dulux brand...
- for the next one- possibly Craig and Rose or
Farrow and Ball brands
use Dulux brand for walls, ceiling and skirting boards is the good quality and it lasts for 8years
Always stick to the established brands such as dulux and crown for woodwork and sandtex for stonework.never use the stores own brands as they never last the same.
Dulux paint is the best to use. Dulux diamond emulsion is a lot tougher.
Then buy a paint outlets own brand
So you get what you pay for.
Trade and contract paints I find to be too runny and require more coats being applied, rather than a good solid paint such as Dulux which is great to work with and provides satisfactory results time after time.
