pebbledashing alternatives
The pebbledashing on our house looks fairly unsightly. Are there any alternatives to repairing or replacing. How much more expensive are they?

Pebble dash.have you thought of insulation of the house then brick slip or modern render or both.

hello there is alternative you could render over your pebble dash but only if the pebble dash is strong and not cracked or blown.
Or simply break of a small that can easily be repaired and see what the brick work underneath looks like if its good simply break of the pebble dash repoint and seal the brick work and your home will have a lovely new look

I would recommend removing all dash and re-render using a product called krend or webber.

There is not really and other alternative apart from redashing once the old stuff becomes unsightly then that when you need to get it redone..

No need to remove or paint.
All that's needed is to remove a small section of the pebble dash
And send of to a lime or cement centre and they can test the render to find out what material and ratio has been used. The pebbles them selves can be purchased from a local source

Rendering would be good idea . If dash is loose then take it off or if its in good condition then render over ,would make it look modern and clean
