“Unfortunately the job should have started today but Mrs Jones rang at 4.30pm Saturday to say Mr Jones was injured in a serious car accident the previous week and could not do the job. I had made 3 urgent request for confirmation of job start that week, but in the circumstances perhaps the late response was understandable.”
