History:

I have worked in the contstruction industry for over twenty five years. I studied joinery at college and it has stayed with me throughout my career. For the last twenty years I was employed by various organisations, starting out manufacturing furniture and moving on to kitchen fitting. Over the last five years I have been sub contracted through organsiations such as Bensons for Beds, Tesco and B and Q, completing various joinery, painting and decorating, tiling and maintence work all over the country. Last year I started working on the commercial side of the industry, working closer to home, taking on work through all aspects of joinery such as kitchen fitting, flooring such as laminate, fitting bedrooms, skirting boards, fitting doors, but also bathroom fitting, painting and decorating and tiling in household settings.
I have a wide knowledge and experience in the industry and am always keen to learn and take on new challenges, always working to a high standard.

Fitting of kitchen - Kitchen fitting job in Manchester

“Excellent. Would highly recommend Colin. He fitted our entire kitchen over the course of 2 days. He was punctual, professional and friendly. The kitchen is fitted to a really excellent standard. Colin was accommodating and considerate e.g. we have a small baby so he have us ample warning when he thought he would need to turn off the water or would be making noise etc. The workmanship is second to none and we will be using him again to fit the bathroom. Also incredibly reasonable rates! ”

Answers:

First of all i would try to identify what the crack is and how to fix this- the crack must be there for a reason. it may be that the wall needs to be replastered before wall papering or painting the wall.
once i have investigated what the cracks are-eg whether subsidence or not, will determine whether to just fill the cracks then wall paper, or whether to another professional would need to correct the subsidence and then once completed, replaster and paint/wall paper.
