About Us:

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are a family business, formerly called Special Building & Drainage Services Ltd., however due to being 'knocked' on a large commercial project (as well as other firms on the job) by a 'professional con-man' we lost our original company.
As a result of this we had to start up a new company which we titled SB & DS Ltd. thus keeping as close to our original company name due to the good work and references we received over the period from 1999 to 2008.
Please be assured that we are more than happy to provide references from 1999 up until the present day.

We offer a variety of services from internal and external building repair & maintenance to specialist underpinning and foundation services and underground tank installation and associated drainage.

From damp proofing to roofing, from plumbing to electrics to full house refurbishments as well as garden landscaping we can promise works completed to adhere to Building Regs.

Whether the job be inspected by Local Authority Building Control or not works are completed to the highest standard, references supplied to prospective clients prior to starting any jobs.

We get it right first time and take pride in doing the job properly and involving the client from start to finish.

We are happy to offer advice on buying a new property and are experienced in providing a 'Builders Survey Report' outlining any issues plus associated costs on possible problems you may not notice when viewing a prospective house purchase.
We are also experienced in providing 'Party Wall Surveys' for such works as removal of chimneys or other structural issues.

“Special Building & Drainage Services Ltd did an excellent job on fixing a damp problem that we had in the bedroom. They identified the problem straight away which was primarily being caused by leaking drain pipes. They replaced the drain pipes, treated the damp areas, and added in damp coursing which has a 10 year guarantee. They were very down to earth and trustworthy and worked very hard the whole time they were here. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them highly,”
