Mr Pollard was engaged to replace our front door and frame. After a series of pathetic excuses the job has still not been done 8 months later. Mr Pollard has run off with our money and we are now taking legal action. Mr Pollard has refused to respond to our reasonable request to return the deposit and in our opinion Mr Pollard is totally untrustworthy and unscrupulous and we would recommend that he be avoided at all costs.

Hired Steve to fit some doors and handles etc in our house...did such a good job we asked him to do the rest of the doors;12 in all. Always turned up when he said he would, was professional, great at his trade and traditional tradesman values such as taking pride in his work. Steve was very flexible and able to resolve some difficulties such as me ordering handles too wide for the doors. Would definitely recommend and will use again. He is also great value for money and sticks to his quote

Would suggest you need a VG rating. I would rate his work as VG.I live some distance from our holiday home therefore needed someone to do the work 'long distance' which I could not oversee. Shire quoted promptly, did the work on time and to the quote. I was impressed with the quality of the finished work -which included not just renovation and repainting of my very old wooden boathouse but also the construction and fitting of new doors. The quality of workmanship for the doors is impressive.

Galan of G&K Painting & Maintenance has done a fantastic job on fitting our new back door and our new bathroom. We did have some problems that he handled for us and sorted with no problem at all. Very helpful, caring and a perfectionist I would highly recommend him to do any work. He doesn't rush just does the job gets it right. He is polite and gave good advice too. He also cleaned up after him brilliant guy, fab work definately hire him we will for sure only get Galan back to do our jobs.

From the moment I posted this job they were fantastic. Very good communication and provided a price quote which was reasonable. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job to very high standard. I personally felt no job was too small and this is one feature which is very hard to find. Ray is a very good tradesman, he interpreted my requirements and created everything we wanted. One great fact is that every time, he turned at the times and days agreed, so many other tradesmen have not been this punctual. The project was a few days work and was quoted by price, not by the day. He is booked in to come back after Christmas for some more work.

I talked to Kalin about the job and he was due to come over. He didn't come, and didn't have the professional courtesy to call to say he couldn't come to view the needed work and quote. When I finally caught him on the phone,there were excuses but we rescheduled. He showed up (late) and said he could do it. Later, I was chasing him for a time, fixed for Saturday. He didn't show and again didn't answer calls. Not worth your effort to get no service.
