well to be honest this man didnt come to see what i wanted doing stating that he was too busy to come and view the bathroom and quoted a daft price! £1500, after explaining through email what i wanted doing, since i would be suppling the tiles and the bathroom suite i thought this was a little overpriced ! but he did reply within a few days in regards to emails.

The Job I presented Stan with wasn't easy. He had to take out a bath and replace with new. The position of the bath was difficult, being between two end walls and a pipe covering box. Stan achieved the result with minimal damage. He easily made good of any broken tiles and actually improved the framework around the bath. All work done to price agreed, but I suspect Stan should really have charged me extra. He didn't. He's loyal to his word. An excellent tradesman. Great job Stan. Thanks, Mike

Mr Williamson was flexible to changes in design, always turned up on time and left the place every day in tidy condition. After bathroom refurbishment, Mr Williamson also quoted me changing 4 doors and fitting side gate which he also did a great job fitting. Price quoted was very reasonable compared to others and I would highly recommend homessolutions.

Paul Chisholm came late and left early each day.He did not finish the job leaving an uneven floor,tiling incomplete with bare bricks showing.He asked for cash to buy materials and was paid in full. He said he would return at 8am to finish but did not come. After I text him he said his son was ill and would return to finish the work. He never came back having done only half the work. He is unreliable and dishonest leaving 2 pensioners,one on crutches just out of hospital to finish it themselves.

We’re looking for a certified plumber to help out with some bathroom fittings and some small kitchen jobs. - PVC shower panels fitted along three sides around a bath. (Height 1m80 for all 3 sides. Width 1m68 for central panel and 68cm for two ends ends) - A small amount of the PVC also fitted as a splash back behind the sink. - The shower head reinstated during the process. - A new toilet and sink unit plumbed in and fitted. Like for like or close to. (taps to remain the same). - Old pipe box work removed. - New pipe work boxed in. - A new white bath panel fitted. Approx 1m68 - The kitchen tap to be properly fitted / tightened. - We’d also like the cold water in let pipe checked - and possibly replaced depending on its condition. - We also need the boiler to be serviced. (Hence why a certified plumber - not just a fitter.) The current tiling and bath panel will already have been removed and disposed of. We will need the old sink unit and toilet disposed of by you once removed. We would require you to source and provide the PVC shower panels and bath panel. We would like a quote with and without the toilet/sink unit included as we may already have one. All other fixtures / fittings need to be provided by you. I’d like a quote and time estimate for the job and your upcoming availability. It would ideally need to be done within the next few weeks.

He clearly took on a job that was way above his skill level and tried to blag his way through. We mutually agreed he should leave on day 2 after he turned up an hour later than expected, unequipped & unprepared. He agreed that what he’d done so far was below standard. I would not trust him with anything important. His mistakes have cost us in time & money.
