Mike was available at short notice, reasonably priced under the circumstances, and OK to have in the house with the children. He did a small bathroom: new bath, basin, and tiling. He is good at tiling. One reservation- he attached the basin to the tiled wall only with silicone. This might be considered normal, but the bolt holes are there for a reason! He also left a few small details unfinished. All in all- fair job given we needed it done quickly.

I hired Dave for multiple small projects in my house. First one went fine. Then in subsequent projects they left some unfinished work. In the last project he informed me that the work is fully done and when dishwasher arrives he'll fit it (included in the pricing). He took the money in advance and I trusted and gave the full payment. He kept delaying for various reasons and then stopped responding at all. Looks like he doesn't care once he has the money and left the job half done.

Gave me a quote at the time requested and gave me a fairly decent price for a small bathroom refit and were able to start within a couple of days, great crack on.Told them if they did a good job would be able to recommend them for more jobs in the future. They cracked on with the job and seemed to be doing a reasonable job,however did not bolt toilet down, used mastic, didn't seal waste pipe and did a runner - bodget and scarper comes to mind, use at your peril
