Current non working shower is a very old Dolphin. It doesnt heat the water. Maybe it can be repaired but it's so old it may be beyond help:D If it can't be fixed then I'd need a new one fitting. The current shower has a cold water feed and is electric and fitted over the bath. I am medically retired so I can't afford anything fancy. I just need a shower that works and an honest job doing. Mike was available at short notice, reasonably priced under the circumstances, and OK to have in the house with the children. He did a small bathroom: new bath, basin, and tiling. He is good at tiling. One reservation- he attached the basin to the tiled wall only with silicone. This might be considered normal, but the bolt holes are there for a reason! He also left a few small details unfinished. All in all- fair job given we needed it done quickly.

Took twice as long as quoted (on day rate) walked off job after I complained - totally unfinished, unfortunately . Tiling has had to be redone in lots of areas - gaps and uneven, electrics condemned by electrician, may be ok for small jobs but do not allow to do anything bigger than a leaking sink. Hope I save one person from making the same mistake I did.

I hired Dave for multiple small projects in my house. First one went fine. Then in subsequent projects they left some unfinished work. In the last project he informed me that the work is fully done and when dishwasher arrives he'll fit it (included in the pricing). He took the money in advance and I trusted and gave the full payment. He kept delaying for various reasons and then stopped responding at all. Looks like he doesn't care once he has the money and left the job half done.
