Replace 25-100% of the existing floor boards (depending on time and price) with moisture resistant chipboard 3. Install acoustic rock wool between the joists 4. Check how joists are fixed and pack up if required 5. Check and install extra noggins (if needed) 6. Install anchors to link joists in grid that dont touch (if required) 7. The job I would like you to do consists in: - Removal of existing flooring in living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms and disposal/clearance - Fit engineered wood flooring (not changing skirting boards in living room, kitchen, and both bedrooms (total area is about 70sqm). - Remove carpet in the staircase, fill, sand down and paint wooden steps. With his team he laid about 70sqm of solid wood floor, painted walls of the entire flat and restored the staircase. His attention to details made sure that the outcome was great.
