Install a 4x6ft shed in a back garden
Garages & Sheds job 5 miles from Cricklewood in South Ealing
Firstly, old shed (rotten, plant-covered) needs to be removed from back garden. Then a shed similar to this needs to be picked up from B&Q Chiswick (2 miles away) and installed in its place. https://www.diy.com/departments/forest-garden-6x4-ft-apex-overlap-wooden-shed-with-floor/5013053176795_BQ.prd?alt=true The existing base may not be sufficient, so concrete required before installation - advice upon quote would be helpful.

Disassemble, move 30 feet and reassemble 8x6 shed
Garages & Sheds job 5 miles from Cricklewood in South Ealing
Shed to be moved is a standard 8x6 wooden construction, roof is covered with rubber tiles. The shed is very heavy and in an awkward position meaning that it needs to be disassembled first, moved 30 feet/10 metres to a new location, and then reconstructed. The shed is located in a back garden with side of house access around 4 feet wide. The shed is less than 4 years old and is in good condition. The foundation at the new location has already been built.
repairs to shed in a number of places.
Garages & Sheds job 4 miles from Cricklewood in Acton
Shed 212 x 155. Rot present in various places, but hopefully repairable as 70-75% of shed appears sound. I think the under frame at rear has ro though, and that'll be the trickier one to fix.

Would you be interested in building me a shed? I am after a couple keen quotes but then pretty much ready to go (area already cleared in readiness). The project doesnt require planning permission (as will be 2.4m in height) and I have already have gone through the Certificate of Authority process so should be ready in a week or two to go ahead - if this works with you. If you are interested give me your email and I will send over the plan of proposed shed. Sizes: Main rectangle (3m x 5m) plus higher level storage part on right (1m x 4m). Usage: starting as storage area then become a tool/handy making area with relaxing space (need insulation so can be used year round). What type of shed? Base concrete then dpm. Will need good sound/heat insulation plus lighting/power and water provision (even could be as basic as a hose). We will supply a basic mini kitchen. Floor - treated timber 125mm x 47mm (C16) (undergone a chemical treatment to prevent fungal attack and rot) using angle brackets to screw joists to the concrete blocks. 50mm Celotex board insulation. Breathable membrane paper sandwiched between. Tongue and grove plywood 18mm sprayed with high quality timber preservative. Laying techni boards over that. Stud walls: Thinking timber 47mm x 100mm.(C24) doubled up where the doors go. 50mm Celotex board insulation.Breathable membrane paper. Internal walls: Green plasterboards, Plastering and Painting. External construction/Insulation - currently thinking about using hardwearing plastic (fascia look a like wood design) in either overlap or v section to reduce future maintenance/damp/mould. For cladding/like wood fascia currently thinking: Eurocell cladding/shiplap-cladding/shiplap-cladding-oak-on-white-x-5m. Thinking about the wall construction - using 44mm x 69mm hardwood, the cavity filled with 50mm foil backed insulation celotex board. Internally the walls lined with 9mm painted MDF. We already have the x2 mahogany bi-fold doors (due to their weight a solid skeleton is needed). Roof: Sprayed fibreglass. Treated timber 125mm x 47mm (C16), green plasterboards and 50mm Celotex. Base to fibreglass - 18mm OSB3 Boards. Two 1m x 1m roof windows (need to source). Windows & doors - Re-using existing garden room x3 narrow double glazed horizontal windows (non-opening) and x2 box windows either side (right hand side upper section and above w/c on left). - Bi-fold doors already supplied (on site). Internal design - one large room/space with small rectangular higher level to store tools. Surface water/guttering - The roof slopes downwards (to the right) as shown in design attached. So UPVC guttering is required along the whole of the right hand side. The down pipe potentially located at the back of the right hand side with a water butt underneath. The aim is to reduce all potential puddling/surface water. Both water and electrics to be supplied via the house during the works. If necessary a new supply can be taken from the consumer unit within house. Hope this give you a bit of an overview! If this is of interest, please send me a couple examples of your work and connect with me. Thanks.
Re felt shed roof
Garages & Sheds job 5 miles from Cricklewood in South Ealing
Small shed 6 x 4 needs new roof felt. Old felt coming away and torn in places.
Fix 3 holes in garage and cover open area at the back
Garages & Sheds job 7 miles from Cricklewood in Winchmore Hill
1) To apply expanded foam on top of the back wall of the garage, to close the gaps between roof and wall. 2) To enclose the two holes in the concrete panels that are at ground level. Presumably, two cement boards to be secured internally over these. 3) To cut the damaged fascia board at the roof level of the garage - top right hand side - and replace with a new L shape fascia board. This damaged fascia board has come loose and reveals a gap in the garage.

Replace shed roof
Garages & Sheds job 9 miles from Cricklewood in Wimbledon
I have a shed in my front garden with a single sloped roof which is no longer water tight. I had previously tried to repair it with some bitumen paint but this hasn’t held up. The roof needs replacing; probably with new OSB and felt and with some extra beams in the middle of the shed to better support the new roof. The roof measures 2.8mx0.85m. Photos can be supplied.
