He the demanded to be paid before completing the job (after not turning up for the day), and then quit, leaving a half completed wall. For no reason than he just decided not to show up

Also some other cracks to be cut out and filled • • the back step by the back door needs to be sealed as water is running under the step • • All the walls at back of house only needs stripping back. All cracks cut out back to brick. will need to use EMC expanding metal where there are deep cracks and then re-render and patch in preparation for a full x3 coat decorated finish

My only cons: - I had to be quite involved in the process and had to source various materials myself - At times there was miscommunication between the different workers on who was responsible for what - Initial consultation was not very thorough and surprises came up, though they were resolved Overall and I am pleased with the results. Convert cupboard into utility room

We have a deep cupboard in our bathroom that we were hoping to convert into a utility room housing our tumble drier and washing machine. To do this we would want to block off the door currently feeding into the bathroom and knock through the plasterboard wall that feeds onto the hallway, and install some recessed sliding doors into the wall so that we can block it off as and when desired (see highlighted section in attached floorplan). This will also involve some minimal plumbing work for the washing machine (the boiler is currently in this cupboard also - a combi boiler) and possibly some tiling work to make good on the bathroom side.

Disappointed on the way the job has been handled and executed. The job was to repaint in white a one bedroom flat. The guy showed up the first day 5 hours late and the following 2 days 1 our late. When the job was done been asked to pay more than what agreed. After the "builder" left I realised the towel rack in the bathroom had been broken and not fixed. The sealing has a big line of missing paint right in the middle of the room. Very disappointed. Definitely won't work with them again.
