A room in a flat in Grade 2* listed building (central Bradford on Avon) has a bad water ingress whenever there is heavy rain over a period of time. While the source of the flooding is being investigated, we need a builder with expertise in this field to seal off the room from the other parts of the flat as a temporary measure. Water is still coming in after 5 days but has lessened and we have pumps in place.

Very disappointing. After initial good rapport, bold words and promises, in the event they provided an unsuitable pump for the job, undertook work not asked for, left a coating of cement over the floor and articles stored in the room, and, albeit inadvertently, removed articles not belonging to them from the site. They promised to return to put matters right but have not done so in three months. They have also ignored repeated emails and phone messages. I advise caution in employing this firm.

We have a staircase that has been badly fitted by another builder. Since he has gone off the job we have learn he not only did not fit stairs correctly he also did not allow for head height for regulations. We are now left with trying to put this right. Firstly we need a builder to sort out the head height regulations then we need a carpenter/joiner to fit the stairs correctly. We are looking to get this job done after Christmas but as we have been let down by other tradesmen please don not say you can start this job if you have no intention of turning up. We have been let down so many times now we don not want anymore time wasters. Thank you.
