Makes false promises to get work. Inability to completion. I warned him for his tight deadline and did not want him for his ill manner and expensiveness. But he convinced and promised to complete the job within price in 5 days for £1700 and will work extra days to finish the job if needs. He charged twice, compared to normal handyman and I bought £1200 items as he instructed. Only completed 20% of job. Damaged house structure, broken everywhere and left after 5 days

Construct a workshop in back garden

We have recently laid a concrete base, with the original plan of building a wooden shed, however, we would now like to look at a more substantial building. We need help with whether we need planning permission etc and advice on what's possible in the space we have. The space is 14' x approx 10' 6" and ideally we'd like a building with a pitched roof, so that the space above can be used for storage. We would also like to install a wood burning stove, so we can work in the winter! Door would be on the short length wall and we would probably keep all windows to that wall, as the other 3 walls would be adjacent to the garden fence. We'd like to run electricity out to the workshop to run tools like a lathe, pillar drill and similar. And have some lighting, obviously :) If you think you can help with me floundering in the dark here, I'd love to hear from you... I'm sure my partner will be a bit more tech-conversant than me, but it's my mission to find us a builder - sorry!

After starting well, David went completely berserk midway through the project, not turning up and deciding to start another job. He the demanded to be paid before completing the job (after not turning up for the day), and then quit, leaving a half completed wall. For no reason than he just decided not to show up

Remove existing brick porch and build new one

Tom was asked to remove existing porch and build a new one - he responded very quickly to my contact with him and within 2 days had started the work. Tom did an excellent job and completed the work to a high standard - he also took away all the old bricks and other items from the old porch and left the area in a tidy condition. Tom then completed other work for me and this was also completeted quickly and efficiently. I would recommend him and will be using Tom for future projects.

I just removed the laminated flooring in my flat and want to replace it with carpet. But underneath the flooring I found too many broken or missing floor tiles. Now there are gaps in the floor that need filling with self-levelling compound before I can put the carpet in. Also there is a hole in one of the walls that also needs filling.

All the work was done to the highest possible standard. Eddie also painted all my skirting boards, pipes and radiators, and the results were absolutely beautiful ! Fantastic craftsman. • There is a few issues with guttering and drainage, the guttering doesn't heave a down pipe. The rain water runs to next door which is not level. It fills up and runs down the wall. • own down pipe is needed to drain the water • • Back wall: • There are some areas that need cutting out and patched up. Also some other cracks to be cut out and filled • • the back step by the back door needs to be sealed as water is running under the step • • All the walls at back of house only needs stripping back. All cracks cut out back to brick. will need to use EMC expanding metal where there are deep cracks and then re-render and patch in preparation for a full x3 coat decorated finish
