Ray installed a canopy above a large french door. It was a challenging job in so much as the installation was more than 3 metres high, the canopy was flimsy and the old brickwork quite soft. Ray did an excellent job taking time to achieve a good finish and replacing the fixing bolts with some better fixings more appropriate to the installation. I commend him without hesitation.

I have two jobs. First job is I would like to purchase a new garden side gate & get it fitted. I dont want to spend too much on the gate. I think the frame will also need replacing as wood looks rotten. Second job is I want to purchase 3 internal moulded doors (which will match the ones I already have in the house), and purchase the necessary fittings for these (handles etc) and get someone to fit them for me. I have several drilling jobs around the house, which are slightly beyond my own DIY skill to accomplish. 1) Drill 4 holes in HARD bathroom tiles in order to mount a cabinet. 2) Drill 4 holes in HARD batrhroom tiles in order to mount a towel rail. 3) Drill 6 holes in living room wall in order to mount a TV wall bracket. 4) Drill 2 holes in front door in order to mount a doorbell (this one should be easy, but I may as well utilise the professional handyman when he's here!) I tried myself to drill into the bathroom tiles, but despite having bought carbide-tipped bits, they just were not going through. I therefore decided to enlist professional help. Anyone who's interested - please would you give me your quote in the first contact - instead of simply saying "Hi, I can do this job, contact me for the price". Thank you.

He arrived as planned but an hour in he left!? He hadn’t finished, didn’t tidy up & ,importantly, didn’t even speak to me - he just left!
