We want to add a bedroom to our house and therefore need loft conversion to maximise usable space. The work includes staircase to loft area, dormer or velux windows in pitch of the roof, permanent flooring, not sure about joists if they are suitable for floorload so I will need a specialist to come and have a look at what’s needed to convert the loft according to the building regulations. I hired these guys for loft conversion to bedroom that needs to comply with Building regulations. Floor joists laid other way round(across the old ones)and used only 6x2 timber. Must be min. 8x2.They had to repair it thus loosing 3 days of work.Trying to cover the problem with floorboards before building inspector came.I had to stop them. Lying to me about regulations. Very bad work done I had to fix some parts after them. Part of roof not finished. Avoid these guys and save your money.

I would recommend Nick and his team.Nick visited my house to give me a quote, as I previously had builders who did a shoddy job on my loft extension.We discussed various options for getting the work done and he identified areas to improve. He suggested an architect to help draw alterations to the stairs design. The only downside is he seems to have a few jobs to hand at each time and certain items I felt were added to the initial quote ended up costing more. Asides from that, the guys were good.

I needed my loft boarded for storage but also keeping as much of the 270mm insulation as possible. The hatch needed fixing also. Norik’s guys came on time everyday and worked incredibly hard to keep to the original timeline quoted. The timeline slipped slightly due to a delay in delivery of materials but Norik was flexible and kept to the price quoted. The quality of their work was excellent. I highly recommend him.
