I am looking for someone to repaint my front door & porch. The paint is starting to flake and my door/porch look quite tired. I also want to change the colour of the door so will probably require two coats of paint. I appreciate that this is not a big job so would be happy if someone wanted to fit it in around their current workload when they had some free time. I would ideally like this done within 4 weeks. I am looking for a decorator who can paint all my external woodwork. It is a modern 3 storey house which has a dormer window. The dormer and gable end are obviously high. I have seen others painted from a ladder and am hoping to have it done without the extra expense of scaffolding.

On each occasion I contact him another false promise is made of the work will start tomorrow. He now keeps promising to refund my deposit but again this doesn't materialise. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIRM TO ANYONE AND, IF YOU DO EMPLOY THEM DO NIT T PAY ANY MONEY UPFRONT UNTIL THE WORK HAS STARTED.
