Paul and his team came to render my house - worked hard and seemed to do a good job. I paid him in cash (did not get a receipt - foolish, I know) with the promise he would return the next day to finish off bits and pieces and bring proper receipt. He did not turn up. He rang a few days later and made another appointment. He did not turn up. He has failed to answer my emails or telephone calls and now the rendering is cracking and parts of it obviously need replacing.

I wish all of my tradesmen were as professional as Simon. 7:59am every day he would pull up into the driveway. His team was here for two weeks. Plastered, painted, added skirting board in my spare bedroom, landing, and stairway. They also, last minute, added coving when I asked them too. They also ripped up old carpet, sorted a leak, and a few other things. There are not enough characters in the feedback form but honestly HIRE HIM. YOU WILL BE DELIGHTED!

The job is to repair and plaster a wall and alcove where a double shower was removed from an upstairs bedroom - some gaps where pipes are visible need some kind of boarding up.

two bedrooms wood walls needs to be removed and replaced with plaster board and two concrete walls on either side need to be skimmed. I just want the rooms prepped so I can have them ready to be painted myself. Removing wallpaper from the internal wooden walls proved to be difficult and it would be much easier to just replace these with plasterboard. Removing the wallpaper from the concrete walls in the same rooms also started to take off the plaster so just wants that removed and skimmed again.
