I have an 'L shaped' space under the stairs. The height is 150cm, the long side of the L is 238cm. The short side/bottom of the L is 170cm. The ceiling condition is okay (doesn't need doing) but the walls are cracked and crumbly in parts and require re-plastering.

This is potentially unsafe and, as such, we would like for the hole to be filled and re-decorated, so that the property is in good order and shape. A photo here shows the problem. Need the job done on Thursday August 3 (this is the only possible date we can open the property).

We have some plaster, peeling wall paper which is coming away from the walls as well as some uneven walls which we would like to repair and smooth out with plastering in 2 bedrooms, the lounge and kitchen/diner. The master bedroom we would like the wall paper removed and re-plastered in its entirety and measures about 16 x 12 ft. The guest bedroom needs some repairs to small cracks, blemishes in the walls and measures about 10 x 11 ft. The lounge measures about 18 x 12 ft and needs to be fully re-plastered including ceiling. The kitchen/ diner needs some repairs to small cracks and blemishes in the walls and measures about 20 x 10 ft.

Damien was friendly, efficient and flexible. He worked long hours to complete the job especially given that the scope of the work increased as we went along mainly on my request. He also uncovered a potential issue with the ceiling in our bedroom which needed immediate attention and was fixed. In the end the job morphed from 1 week to 3 weeks but all was done to a very high standard whilst keeping things as tidy as was possible. I would not hesitate to hire Damien again!

Remove lining paper & skim one room ASAP

One small bedroom - roughly 4 metres by 3 metres - needs to have lining paper (that has been painted over a few times) removed and then the four walls need a skim. Needs to be seen to give a quote. The work needs to be done ASAP (as in this week) as I've already got a decorator booked to paint the whole flat - this is the only room not ready and his plasterer is not available. Melvin organised a plastering job for me - removing lining paper and making good walls and then skimming one room, including ceiling. The workman was excellent and Melvin was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He responded to texts, emails and phone calls, always showed up on time, started work at 8.30 am, managed to get materials to my place within the congestion charge zone without the usual moaning, and was always courteous, polite and patient. In future I would call Melvin first for any job.
