Zibi, came to identify a leak in my ceiling.(an old lead pipe) i agreed for him to replace it for copper pipe. There were a few moments of panic, as his first fixing leaked, but he soon rectified it. I'm not an hundred percent happy with finish, as pipe does not sit flush with walls!, However Zibi had told me that the wall behind need to dry out, then pipe can be pushed back toward wall. So time will tell, when I need to plaster walls. His price was fair.

We had been quoted ?1200 to replace a bathroom pump (which we assumed as needed, but knew the price was hugely inflated) and a couple of smaller jobs. Lawrence and his partner came round and diagnosed the exact problem... pump could be fixed, went off to get the needed spare parts and did the whole job at about a third of the price ... really he showed a great attitude in explaining to us the exact issues, discussing costs and getting it sorted the same day. Hi- I have 2 pieces of work, so this would be ideal for 2 people who can do both. The first piece of work is flushing and cleaning the radiators and increasing the pressure of the boiler that has been very low. The second is: re-sealing of the bathtube with waterproof antimould silicon, regrouting of some tiles (only 3/4 tiles, so very minor work!!), and filling some cracks and gaps with white fillers (cracks as results of paint drying up after a refurb). I don't want to have a lot of different people, so I need somebody who can do both (e.g. plumber with friend decorator). Please give me a single quote. Sean sorted our shower installation perfectly!! The setup of the bathroom dates from the 60's so was tricky to work with, with very little space to manipulate the pipes. Sean was not only competent but his rates are reasonable, which for newlyweds is a big bonus!! Not only do I recommend his services but my husband and I plan on using him again in the not so distant future to replace a sink ! Our 60's bathroom now looks more like a modern 21st century one ;)
