I have had a boiler engineer come . The boiler was fine and he tested flow on tap.This is report. BATH TAP IN MAIN BATHROOM RUNS AT 22 LITRES PER MINUTE AND IS GETTING A TAP TEMP OF 40 DEGREES. RESIDENT WOULD LIKE HOT WATER IN BATH TO BE ALOT HOTTER. FULL TAP FLOW COMING OUT OF BATH TAP IS TO HIGH. EVEN THOUGH IF BRING THE TAP FLOW DOWN TO 14 LITRES PER MINUTE TAP TEMP STAYS AT 40 DEGREES AND UNIT IS SENDING OUT 59 DEGREES. BLENDING VALVE UNDER BATH AND HIGH FLOW FROM BATH TAP NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT BY A PLUMBER.

We had been quoted ?1200 to replace a bathroom pump (which we assumed as needed, but knew the price was hugely inflated) and a couple of smaller jobs. Lawrence and his partner came round and diagnosed the exact problem... pump could be fixed, went off to get the needed spare parts and did the whole job at about a third of the price ... really he showed a great attitude in explaining to us the exact issues, discussing costs and getting it sorted the same day. Hi- I have 2 pieces of work, so this would be ideal for 2 people who can do both. The first piece of work is flushing and cleaning the radiators and increasing the pressure of the boiler that has been very low. The second is: re-sealing of the bathtube with waterproof antimould silicon, regrouting of some tiles (only 3/4 tiles, so very minor work!!), and filling some cracks and gaps with white fillers (cracks as results of paint drying up after a refurb). I don't want to have a lot of different people, so I need somebody who can do both (e.g. plumber with friend decorator). Please give me a single quote.
