We appear to have water damage in the loft ( converted to store room) in corner nearest to chimney, wall paper peeling and stained, wall damp and water damage to Velux window. Atmosphere in loft is now damp. Needs urgent attention. Will be covered by Barclays Insurance. Can't quite see if tiles dislodged. But flashing on chimney looks damaged. We had a bad leak in the roof with the storms, he detected the cause and explained what he would need to do, with no horrid hums or errs. He cleared debris, relayed tiles, replaced insulation, damp proofed the chiming and more, along with a superb job on restoring my Velux window. We are delighted, very reasonable price too. He turned up well on time and him and his assistants worked really hard all day in freezing cold temperatures to make sure the job was finished.
