The survey showed up damp underboarding and some other damage to the roof covering but is not specific enough and we need to make sure we can afford it! The owner has now put airbricks in to improve the ventilation that caused the main damage.

I engaged Mr William R Buckley (also known as Nick) initially to apply a finishing coat to two flat roofs which was fine. He then provided a quotation for two high level roofs. A leak occurred on the same day which I reported. I arranged for a roof survey by a member of the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) which confirmed that all the work Mr William R Buckley had undertaken had either not been done or done to a incorrectly/to a poor standard. I am now taking the issue to court.
