My building is terraced and the home next door is slightly downhill so the roof has an exposed brick apex separating the roof height difference. The brick chimney is along this. The bricks in the apex have crumbed and fallen out exposing the roof. The buildings are 2 floors with sloped tile roofs.

He was able to provide a quote of what I was expecting and included the price of scaffolding and arranged everything. Once working both guys were very friendly, with time to spend explaining the work and sharing their experience. The work was carried out very timely and to a high standard. I engaged Mr William R Buckley (also known as Nick) initially to apply a finishing coat to two flat roofs which was fine. He then provided a quotation for two high level roofs. A leak occurred on the same day which I reported. I arranged for a roof survey by a member of the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) which confirmed that all the work Mr William R Buckley had undertaken had either not been done or done to a incorrectly/to a poor standard. I am now taking the issue to court.
