Need someone to re-stick some snap-together floor tiles which are starting to lift - I have the product - fix a floor - I am not confident enough to try to lift with a putty knife and re-stick. 5 tiles need work just at one edge. Also lay two section of floor tile inside a cupboard so I can put a washing machine on top.

I contacted other contractors and it was a case of "Nothing I can do" - have to take them up and fit new ones. I did my own research and found Fix A Floor. I posted a job with "MY WORKMAN". Lucas made contact - came out - gave me a quote - did the job and the final bill was less than he quoted. Treated me as a valued customer and I do not hesitate to recommend him for any job.

I am unable to complete my loft conversation due to ill health; this is first job I require to be done. Tiling three walls on new loft conversion bathroom, walls are new and sealed and square, with a coat of PVA on top. All skirting and architrave is in place. No wall preparation will be necessary; all plumbing is already in place behind walls. I already have a number of tubs of tile adhesive. Only holes in tiles are, mirror cable and one for cold water feed toilet. Tiles are large high quality Colorker 610mm x 310mm and a band of mosaic ones behind shower mixer. I have calculated it will require 53 large tiles with 5 spare, and have two boxes of mosaic tiles on mesh for behind shower mixer. Wall 1, slopping 175cm wide, 220cm highest, and 155cm lowest Wall 2, including full size doorway, 170cm wide, 220cm high Wall 3, shower and WC wall, 270 wide, 220cm highest, and 70cm lowest I will pay cash, but will require a high standard of workmanship.

Walls should be complete within 2 weeks. Will supply tiles but need advice on waterproof adhesive and grout. Original plaster damaged due to water ingress behind tiles. Due for complete replacement.

I would not recommend James at all. His work is poor quality and I am having to pay twice to get his work undone and redone properly in my shower. No invoice as yet so no idea what he actually charged. He will no doubt dispute the quality aspect but I have plenty photo's I'd be happy to share showing the quality of his workmanship.
