Hi,

I have various jobs (5) so I am looking for a competitive quote for all the jobs from those suitably qualified to do all them as a renovation or working with your own small team of trades.

With regards to this, I am looking for someone who has the skills to do most of the work or able to get other trades in and still keep the quote competitive. This job would ideally suit a bathroom and heating specialist with the relevant qualifications and skills and must be gas safe registered. The jobs are as follows:

Bathroom:

Complete rip out, walls and ceiling re-plastered, same painted, walls tiled only where necessary i.e. toilet, washbasin and shower cubicle. Floor will also need to be tiled. A clean, tidy and professional job is what I am looking for and it does not need to be luxurious, just a basic bathroom is what is required as it is a rental property.

Central Heating:

New combi condensing boiler to be installed using existing pipework which must be fully flushed. Removal of hot water tank, and installation of 8 double radiators with thermostatic valves, new 22m gas pipe run. further information can be provided if you wish to have more detail.

Electrical work:

Various minor electrical work mainly installing approx. 6 double sockets and one single may be some other very minor work.

Carpentry:

One cupboard to be reconfigured with MDF shelving and various other minor carpentry work mainly replacing all doors 8 in total of which 7 need to be fire doors, fitting of all doors and door furniture to comply with the regulations. Couple of other very minor jobs and also shelving to be built in 3 areas (inclusive of kitchen) and double kitchen cupboards to be installed in 4 bedrooms (I envisage to obtain these myself unless you can source at a good price and I will also put these together so all you have to do it mount them onto the walls which I can assist with at the time if necessary). Also to level a floor and hang some new doors onto some side storage in the eaves, full list can be obtained with a site visit in due course.

Kitchen:

Some minor work in kitchen this will mainly be putting some boards onto walls and possibly tiles or a stainless steel back behind cooker and a new tiled floor which is very small. Floor needs to be levelled first with levelling compound first as its very uneven. Ceiling to be boarded or some other suggestions to improve what is there, painting of boards etc to finish.

The main jobs are the central heating, bathroom and carpentry work, with the kitchen work a minor refurb and very minor electrical works.

A full detailed list can be obtained when having a site visit should anyone be interested in these multiple jobs. Ideally I am looking for a jack of all trades but if someone only needs to employ third party labour at reasonable costs then that is fine with me as I am looking for a very competitive quote to secure this work.

If you feel that you would like to quote for this work giving initially just a ball park figure I would be pleased to hear from you within the next 2 weeks. The work does not need to be completed until 31st August but I do need a quote promptly as I wish to make a decision within the next 3 weeks or so. I DO appreciate that you will wish to make a site visit to firm up and agree any quote but initially I want to get a ball park figure to establish those that I wish to invite around for a site visit.
