We agreed a daily rate however Alan frequently arrived at 10 and rarely lasted a full day. He never actually managed a full week and the job significantly overran and has not been finished after 3 months. We went away on holiday and were told the painting would be done but whilst away, Alan took his tools and is now uncontactable.
