Following a disastrous tearing of the vinyl during fitting, probably due to a quality issue with the original vinyl, Tony paid half the cost of repacement vinyl of a better quality, which he then successfully fitted. This was a challenging job, covering a large area of irregular floor and non-square walls. Tony worked at it solidly for over 5 hours, including our trip to the carpet store. He was more concerned with doing a professional job than making money, he definitely ended up out of pocket.
