Hampshire SBC (Andrew) was one of a few that we requested quotes from and from the first meeting he impressed us with his knowledge by explaining what work had been done on our wall in the past and what he could do to fix our problems with water seeping in. He took the time to listen to our thoughts about his suggestions and answer our layman's questions.
He turned up when he said he would (even though one of his suppliers didn't) and explained what he would be doing each step of the way. It was, obviously, a very dusty job but he was thorough in cleaning before he left at the end of each day. The finished wall (repointed and waterproofed) looks totally transformed. He even had time to remove an old balanced flue from a different (tiled) wall and that now looks as if the flue was never there.
Overall, we were very impressed by Andrew's work, his attention to detail and his character. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and would call on him again if needed. We think we might have found a replacement for our old builder (now retired)!
