We had a large patch of damp on an interior wall which we took to be rising damp. On investigation, Lenny found that the cause of the damp was not due to rising damp but to a water leak from a corroded central heating pipe under the concrete floor. To fix this involved removing floor tiles and all of the copper piping. Once fixed a new tiled floor was laid by his team in the kitchen. At all times we were fully aware of what was being done and estimates for all the ongoing work were given.
Once this was solved we asked them to lay a new wooden floor throughout the dining and living rooms, this was carried out perfectly. A second damp problem was identified on another internal wall, this was solved by inserting a chemical damp proof course. Finally. The front wall brickwork dating from 1857 was waterproofed with silicon based solution.
We are very happy with the work carried out in a professional, friendly manner and would recommend this company for any damp problems that need solving.
