We paid £600 to remove 3 fireplaces, plasterboard them up and skim blend into the existing wall. Not enough of the brickwork was chipped out, so plasterboard bows out of the wall - to such an extent it covers over the skirting board and we can't fit it. We hadn't realised before paying as the skim was wet and you couldn't see it properly. Gave Richard/Stephen 3 weeks to fix, and after 4 appointments where no one turned up - now left to find someone else to repeat the work. Shocking.
