Gravel boards to edge allotment

On my allotment I need edges of pieces of wood each side of a new path and a few more edges with gravel boards. I have some of the wood already.

He asked for a 20% deposit which I sent after that he didn't respond to my texts or phone calls so it has been a bad experience for me and I would like my deposit back please.
