support and cap remainder of chimney
I have removed internal chimney breast and fitted support for remainder of chimney on party wall do I need to fit a blank on stack to prevent water getting in

You should fit a vented Pot on the chimney.

You can cap of your chimney pots but not next doors in case they are still in use

Yes this needed a slab the size off the stack will do beded on mortar and that will seal it
