All depending on structures of existing timbers and the type of tile you wish to replace the existing roof with. Its always best to get a detailed report with no hidden costs after work commences.

As long as it is an up and over roof with no hips valleys or apexes or dormers the cost to re-felt Batten and tile the roof would average of around £4500

I would need to see the roof, measure and assess the roof fully before making any decision on costs, its unprofessional to be giving a price on something you've not seen or assessed there could be potential risks and dangers that I'm not aware of.

It's all depends on how big the roof is but just with the description of what I've been given to take off all the tiles felt and batten and to replace with new tiles felt and batten around about 4-5 thousand pounds

It all depends on what the customer would like they might want to go from slate to tiles or tiles to slates it all can depend on the request. My opinion you can’t just give a price without looking at what you are working with.

We would measure up the square meter of the roof and then add up the material price for the customer and then add on our small price for fitting your new roof.
