I am told that I require and EICR before being able to let out a small 2 bedroom terraced house. How much (roughly) would we be looking at?
All depends on how many circuits you have in the house generally most electricans will price it based on a price per circuit and size of house
This depends on where you live. To perform a full EICR properly it could take upto a full day, So I would recommend finding out the average day rate of local electricians to you and go from there. Another common way of quoting EICR's in the industry is £20 per circuit breaker + £60 for the testing of the actual consumer unit box itself. Hope this helps.
On average it would cost 120 pound
Depends on the skill level and experience of the electrician you hire
cheap ones might not have the knowledge and miss certain things of importance
250.00-300 for a EICR. Thanks heads up electric
Hi, the range is normally £100 - 150 depending on the age of the property and the number of circuits.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) should cost around £130.00 for an average 3 Bedroom house. This will include 3-4 Hours on site undertaking the inspection and testing, then 1-3 hours compiling the certificate and recording any defects or non-compliances found and issuing an NICEIC Approved Contractors certificate
Hi this will all depends on who you get to undertake the EICR but I generally charge £120 for an EICR.
Hope this helps

130 depend where you live
