We've received a quote for rendering the front elevation of our (detached) house of £2500. I wasn't expecting to pay that much so was wondering if that was on the high side or just average for rendering just 1 elevation
Depending on what kind of rendering and what area is it being covered the price really varies
A easy way to work it out is on a m2 basis £37 x2 as a scratch coat then a finished coat if a small area it may done on day pay which average is about £150 cheap to £250average £300+above average cost
As so depend on material as sand cement cost one amount lime and sand another so talk to a few professional to get a rough idea
It all depends on the height weather or not the walls need hacking off dubbing out and meshing scaffolding protection to windows and doors and if you are using a coloured through monochouce product as these materials are quite expensive
Prices can vary depending on what surface is like that your wanting to render to. Some surfaces may need preparation ei; basecoats etc also prices can vary depending on what render your looking to have in place. For example modern coloured renders are more expensive than traditional mortar based renders.
I hope this helps
Yes that is too steep normally rendering is measured per sq meter of roughly £60, then do the maths. How many per sq meters
