Osmo, they do some fantastics stains and oil, that not only preserve the wood, but really make it look stunning

Dulux weathersheilds 8 year guarantee with there paint

This is part of our outdoor decoration speciality.
Preparation is the key to lasting outdoor wood quality.
We would make sure the wood is fit for purpose and prepare it for a good quality branded coating of weatherproofing.

2 even coats of a top-quality coating would normally be perfect for the job.

can paint 1coat undercoat ,and 2coat exteriors glos

Exterior wood requires more attention due to the variables of weather, it's important to prep the wood, preserve the wood and protect , it would help to know the type of wood .it can Be then decorated to the clients choice with suitable paint there are many different products on the market for this. Preservers like carbinol wood preservers good or barrettine premier wood preserve.

A bitumen paint, it was used on bottom of boats
Highly Recommend black jack

Waterproof paint will be best or all weather paint

Use preservative basecoat and two coats of protect wood stain.

i would suggest a weathershield primer and finish paint. preparation is important if wood is flaking sand dow all flakes and wipe the wood with a damp cloth to remove any dirt so that paint can hold u can also use sugar soap to clean the wood before undercoating. prime the wood first and when its dry apply one or two coats of finish paint i suggest oil based primer and oil based finishing paint they tend to be more durable and weather resistant, this will protect your wood from any harsh exterior conditions snow rain etc

Seal prime and use an exterior weather proof gloss preferably oil based paints

I personally would use sandlex flexible primer. Undercoat then gloss it covers a 10 year warranty.

You can sand back , prime and undercoat to protect the wood to then paint with your chosen finish.

There are plenty of exterior wood paints or stains on the market in local DIY stores. You get what you pay for generally.
