I have sanded down and applied 1 coat of undercoat paint, should I apply a second?

Me personally I would it wouldn't hurt

I always apply two coats of undercoat and then two coats top coat. Stoneman external painting

i would do 2 coats

Probably yes. You should make sure that the previous finish is completely covered by the undercoat before you apply the top coat.

If first coat is not covered properly u can do second coat and then gloss

Yes second coat would be best but sand lightly before applying undercoat

To be sure the stains are no
Longer there.
Do another coat
Then top paint

Hi, if you already sanded and aplied 1 coat of undercoat paint should be fine , but for best result is better to aply another one before the paint.

Yes to create good adhesion

Depending on the finish I would personally give it two coats of under coat to be on the safe side doors have a tendency to suck in alot of paint once u have sanded and prepare it so my advice would be yes definitely use two coats hope this helps
