Noisy and vibrating kitchen mixer tap

Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice please. When using any of the hot taps in the house (including the shower) it makes the kitchen tap (which is a mixer tap) vibrate and make a terrible noise – almost like someone is drilling in the house. At the same time water runs from the kitchen tap even though it is off. The noise continues until the hot tap in the kitchen is switched on fully. The kitchen hot tap also makes the same noise when you use it if it is only slightly opened but stops when it is fully opened. When it is open half way between it makes a whistling noise. There is no problem using the cold taps in the house. The house was built 4 years ago and has the same taps (Bristan) from when newly built which apparently have a 5 year guarantee. So before I call a plumber out I wondered whether I might need a new kitchen mixer tap? If so, I can get onto Bristan to order a free replacement before I call a plumber to install it. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks
