Air source heat pump central heating
I have had a brand new air source heat pump and central heating fitted (had storage heaters before). How long should it take the system to heat up from the base temperature (currently set to 15) to target temperature (set to 21)? It seems to be taking all morning - which means the pump outside is running constantly all that time. And how much noise should I expect to come from the part of the installation that is inside the house (I.e. tank etc)? At the moment it sounds like I have a washing machine going all day in the airing cupboard, with the sound of water running through pipes etc. I am due to pay the final bill but don’t want to pay yet if there are further adjustments that should or could be made to make it quieter and more efficient. On the other hand, I do not want to be unreasonable to the fitters. Just could really do with an objective view. Thank you.
