Shower overheating

Hi my shower continuously overheats, we originally replaced the thermal cut out in our 1st shower, it worked for a while but then did the same and we’d have to wait hours after the 1st person showered before the second one could, we then bought a new shower, it’s worked fine the first few weeks and now this morning it has overheated and cut out completely, so it cannot be the showers fault like we originally thought as this one is new. Is it something wrong with our boiler or water flow? How do we stop this?

All depends where shower pump is fitted. It should be on the floor, not high level in airing cupboard where is hot already. Check manual as well, what's the maximum running time. Maybe is oversized. 1.5-2 bars is usually big enough for one shower.

Its sounds to me that the correct size electrical cable might not be the correct size coming to the shower. If you can see a 2.5mm wire running to it then this is your problem
