toilet position change

Me and my partner are looking to buy a house and renovate this over time. We are trying to keep our deposit as big as possible, so we do not want to renovate everything all at once but save for improvements while we live in the new house. The only thing we are eager to renovate straight away is the bathroom, but we fear that what we want might have a knock on effect on other area's. We want to combine the bathroom with the little toilet room next to it and move the position of the toilet to the other side of the bathroom so a shower could fit in the space where the toilet is located currently. But this would mean the current sewer pipe, going straight down, would be about 2M away of the new toilet position. Is this possible or is this going to cause (or severely increase) the chance of blockage if we extend the route to the current sewer pipe? Below the bathroom there is the kitchen where the sewer pipe is running trough (boxed up). If we need to move the sewer pipe, it would break the current kitchen for which we won't have the funds to renovate just yet. So we are hoping the pipe can stay where it currently is.

This depends on the size of the cavity below your bathroom floor. You want to move your toilet waste away from the main shoot by 2m. You will need at least 3 inches hight difference from the start of the straight pipe under your toilet to the end of the straight pipe that would meet your vertical drop pipe. By rule of thumb, you would need to drop 1/4 inch in hight for ever foot of pipe. So if there is room for that in your floor cavity then your are good to go without causing to much disruption to your kitchen.

As long you have the correct fall for the pipe it would be OK or the other option is if there is a pipe outside core drill for a new pipe and direct it outside into the Maine line
