Which fitting to use to replace a tap with shower mixer
I bought a bath shower mixer online that doesn't come with any fittings. The manual just says it requires a 3/4 inch BSP fitting but I am not sure which one to buy. The existing tap that I am removing has built-in flexible fitting ( I believe its 1/2 inch BSP female at the end) . So obviously I am searching for a flexible connector with 3/8 inch female at one end and 1/2 inch female on the other. But not finding any. Am I missing something here?
Hi usually shower mixers require 15mm pipe work to be connected to it, If it ask for 3/4 then buy your self reducer . Go to Wolseley plumbing store and they will help you. Otherwise you can ask me for help
Question. What type of shower mixer did you buy? Does it fit on the wall or build in? Does it have 1 inlet and 1 outlet or 2 inlets and 2 outlets. What is the size of the pipe/s that meant to be connected to shower mixer? Once I know this I can advise you exactly what to buy.
