Reducer issue related to water hammering

Is a direct 40-25mm pipe reduction suitable for a two-story house's plumbing system, serving two geysers, two washbasins, and a sink? Shouldn't a gradual reduction (40-32-25mm) be used to minimize pressure drop and water hammering risks
