Washing Machine Installation
I am buying 2 washing machines and want to have them installed in a place where there was only 1 washing machine before (right next to each other). I do not want to do a whole big thing with the plumbing. Is it possible to buy a bit of pipe or something that can divide the inflow in 2 so both machines are served by the same inflow? If so, what type?

One of those will do the trick. Just need to replace the existing valve.
Yes, the installation is possible. You can use a 'Y' hose splitter connected to the existing water valve. This will allow both washers to receive water from the same source. Just make sure the splitter is compatible with your system pressure and that the hoses are securely attached to avoid leaks.
Yes, you can split the supply, but do it properly.
Answer to post:
You can use a Y-splitter / twin washing machine valve to feed both machines from one supply. However:
• Fit a proper double appliance valve (not a cheap plastic splitter)
• Ensure you have good pressure, as both running together may reduce flow
• You’ll also need a dual waste connection (standpipe or twin spigot trap)
It’s a simple job, but both inlet and waste need to be set up correctly.
use a Y splitter for inlet
Hi, yes, in many cases you can supply 2 washing machines from 1 existing cold-water feed, but the correct fitting is a dual appliance tee valve, not a basic splitter. You also need the waste side altered properly using a twin appliance connector or double appliance trap; you can end up with leaks or drainage issues. So the answer is yes, it is possible without major plumbing, but it needs the right inlet and waste fittings to be done properly. Yes it’s possible. You will need two washing machine valves and 1 equal tee 15mm copper or plastic depending on your preference.
Yes you can buy a y tee that will serve both machines

Options:
Twin appliance waste spigot
A trap or standpipe with two hose connections
Best and safest solution
Y-waste connector
Joins two washing machine waste hoses into one
Must be properly clipped and positioned to avoid backflow
If both machines drain at the same time, a standard single standpipe can overflow if not sized correctly.
You can supply two washing machines from one existing cold-water feed by installing a washing machine Y-splitter / double washing machine valve.
Hi Yes
You can buy a washer pipe splitter Y for you inlet pipes
Screwfix product code 636FA or Amazon do a similar one
Depending on the setup if under the sink then you would need to replace the existing trap and replace with a suitable trap with a twin nozzle 11/2” if it’s a stand alone waste pipe you can use a suitable brand standpipe twin connector
